At various times, Mariah Dylla Gardiner also has advocated for women’s rights in various parts of the developing world. She has rapporteur status to the United Nation and she has conducted research and written on issues regarding post-colonial feminism in West Africa. As an attorney, she has handled cases in many courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. Overall, her trial experience includes both sides of cases, including her time as a prosecutor, as Assistant District Attorney in New Mexico, and in her own private defense practice.
